Michael Lamey, who was handed an 85th-minute red card during PSVs 1-0 Champions League victory over Bordeaux, has been given a one-match ban by UEFA. No appeal may be lodged against the decision. Lamey will miss next Wednesday nights game, away against Galatasaray. The Portuguese referee Olegario Benquerenca produced a red card for an alleged elbow on Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, although Lamey insisted he had not committed a foul. Lamey will be available again for the fourth Champions League group stage game, at home against Galatasaray.
