PSV fans will be given an opportunity tonight to bid farewell to three players that left Eindhoven during the summer transfer window: Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Theo Lucius and Edwin Zoetebier. DinnerChairman Frits Schuitema has invited the three former PSV players to have dinner with him, ahead of tonight’s league game with Sparta Rotterdam. They will then go to the Chairman’s private suite to see the game. Vennegoor of Hesselink announced that he is recovering well from his injury and has meanwhile resumed training André OoijerAndré Ooijer is unfortunately not able to join the farewell celebrations. The defender had received an invitation and was anxious to come to Eindhoven, but has been called up to the Blackburn Rovers squad to face Chelsea in a Carling Cup tie at Ewood Park tonight. That game is kicked off at 20:00, at exactly the same time as the PSV-Sparta Rotterdam encounter.
