The UEFA Referees Committee has announced the referees for next Tuesday nights UEFA Champions League group stage games. 35-year-old Martin Hansson has been appointed as the referee to take charge of PSV's clash with Galatasaray SK. The Swede has never been referee at a PSV game before. Martin Hansson was appointed to officiate in the 2006 Euro U21 final, when Holland beat Ukraine 3-0 and Hansson showed a red card to Olexandr Romanchuk. PSV can qualify for the UEFA Champions League knockout in the Philips Stadium on Tuesday night for the third season in a row, if they beat Galatasaray again. They will also make sure of their place in the last 16 if they draw and Liverpool beat Girondins de Bordeaux at Anfield Road. Hansson will be assisted in the Philips Stadium by his fellow countrymen Stefan Wittberg and Henrik Andren. Hakan Jonasson is the fourth official.
