PSV midfielder Ibrahim Afellay has been called up to the Netherlands squad for the friendly away against Switzerland at the Stade de Genève next Wednesday night. Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is included in the squad for the first time since the 2006 World Cup after making his peace with coach Marco van Basten and Arsenal forward Robin van Persie also returns to the squad after recovering from a foot injury.
