The draw for the Champions league group stage has just taken place in Monaco on Thursday night. PSV have been drawn against Internazionale, CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahçe in Group G of the Champions League. PSV, the only team to represent the Netherlands, will meet some familiar places in the most prestigious football tournament in the world.
PSV will make a trip to Milan for the third time in the space of four years, after they had met AC Milan twice before. Internazionale, defending champions of Italy, have a quality team, with renowned players such as Christian Chivu, Marco Materazzi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Adriano, Viera, Crespo and Cruz. The stadium they share with AC Milan is called Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, when the blue blacks play at home. PSV were in Moscow the other day, where they won the Russian Railways Cup during the pre-summer campaign. PSV met the Turkish side Fenerbahçe before: they took on the club of former PSV striker Mateja Kezman in the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League campaign.
