PSV head coach Sef Vergoossen has made just one change from the side that beat Ajax 2-0 on Wednesday. Ibrahim Afellay, who missed the clash with Ajax through suspension, has been recalled to the starting line up. Edison Méndez, who deputised for the Holland international, has to settle for a place on the bench. Balázs Dzsudzsák and Danko Lazovic have passed fitness tests and are included in the starting eleven.
Danny Koevermans makes a trip down memory lane tonight. The striker left the DSB Stadium during the summer transfer window to join PSV. Koevermans, who is PSV's top scorer, having bagged twelve goals, will again start on the bench. PSV have two players away on international duty. Mika Väyrynen's Finland meet Cyprus in a friendly international, while Addo is away with Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations. AZ v PSV kicks off at 20:00.
