The PSV first team squad has been thoroughly prepared for the second period of the 2004-2005 season. They trained for the last time ahead of the league clash against NAC Breda tomorrow night, at De Herdgang training round on Friday morning. After a successful training camp in Abu Dhabi and several hard full training sessions in Eindhoven, PSV seem to be ready for the restart. The final score of the reverse fixture, earlier this season in Breda, was a 2-2 draw. And last year NAC proved to be a formidable opponent as well: at home in Eindhoven PSV had to settle for a draw and they crashed out of the Dutch Amstel Cup, at home against …. NAC Breda. The reserve players Remco van der Schaaf and Arvid Smit stayed on the pitch after the morning session was over. They took turns in taking penalties. Guus Hiddink will have his customary Friday pre-match press briefing and later this afternoon, at about 15:00 hrs, 99-year-old Frits Philips and Guus Hiddink will give the starting signal for the construction of a new accommodation for the PSV Youth Academy and the PSV Amateur department at De Herdgang training ground. PSV Chairman Rob Westerhof will also attend the ceremony.
