Young PSV have moved up to second place in their league after they recorded a 4-0 win over leaders Feyenoord on Thursday afternoon. Nordin Amrabat bagged a first-half brace on his return from injury and Jasper Waalkens and Romario Sabajo also got their names on the score sheet.
One point gap
The match at De Herdgang was played on Thursday afternoon in severe wintry conditions. It was bitterly cold and snow kept falling when the game got under way. Nordin Amrabat returned to match action for the first time since he sustained a groin injury at the end of October. He scored a doubled in the first half before he was taken off at half time. Young PSV have now moved up to second place, one point behind leaders Feyenoord.

PSV opened the scoring after five minutes. Yannick Rymenants set up Jasper Waalkens, who beat former PSV veteran keeper Rob van Dijk; 1-0. The home side played decent football and outclassed Feyenoord who had included first-team regular Jonathan de Guzman and a number of youth players in their starting line-up. Nordin Amrabat doubled the advantage and got the better of his marker to score the third goal of the afternoon.
Romario Sabajo
The visitors were keen to restore some pride, but Young PSV, with the first-team squad members Mike Zonneveld, Erik Pieters and Cássio Ramos, comfortably held on to claim an emphatic win. Four camera crews, a number of senior players, coach Huub Stevens and the fans saw Romario Sabajo put the icing on the cake in the closing stages. Anton Janssen's team will be next in action on Monday night when they play host to Willem II at De Herdgang.
