The groin injury that Carlos Salcido sustained at the Tuesday morning training session is not as bad as first thought. The Mexican lost his footing and had to be carried off the field. Examination at hospital on Wednesday, however, did not reveal any abnormalities in the groin area.
Doubtful for Sunday
Carlos Salcido is doubtful for Sunday's clash with Feyenoord at the Philips Stadium with a 14: 30 kick-off. The 28-year-old defender said the pain was less severe than yesterday and he will report back for training at De Herdgang training complex on Thursday morning. The medical staff will keep a close eye on Salcido the next couple of days.
