The world team of Ronaldinho beat the European team of Shevtjenko 6-3 in the Barcelona Nou Camp last night. The three PSV players that had received an invitation to take part in the benefit game all made an appearance in the second half.Johann Vogel played the full 45 minutes for Shevtjenko’s side; Ji-Sung Park and DaMarcus Beasley were given a place in Ronaldinho’s team. Eto’o, who had been named African Footballer of the Year a few hours before the game started, scored a double, just like Camara. Ronaldinho himself and the South Korean Cha also found the net for the winning team. Del Piero, Zola and Suazo netted the three goals for the Shevtjenko side.All proceeds raised from the match will go to the FIFA/AFC Tsunami Solidarity Fund, which has been set up jointly by FIFA and the AFC.
