PSV midfielder John de Jong is ruled out of Saturday night's game against N.E.C., as he has not recovered yet from an ankle injury that he picked up during the Monday training session.De Jong hopes to be available for the Champions League clash against AS Monaco next Tuesday night. "Fortunately I’m making progress. I sprained my ankle and it was swollen the first few days, but now things are looking better, so I hope I can make an appearance against AS Monaco", said De Jong.PSV will also be without their captain Mark van Bommel on Saturday night. PSV keeper Gomes was back on the training pitch today. The Brazilian ‘goalie’ has recovered from a minor knee problem.
