Twenty PSV players had a training session this morning on the pitch of the Eindhoven Philips Stadium. Goalkeeper Gomes was not called into action. The team of coach Guus Hiddink will face TOP Oss in an Amstel Cup tie on Thursday night. Alex, who has recovered from an ankle injury, joined his team mates for training and so did John de Jong, who has been successfully fighting a toe problem. The Brazilian striker Robert de Pinho de Souza, who had an individual training session yesterday afternoon under the supervision of PSV fitness coach Luc van Agt, was back to full training. Gomes was not on the pitch; he may be rested for Thursday night’s cup tie. The young Belgian goalkeeper Tom Muyters joined the first team squad for training, though. He was called up earlier this season for the league encounter against N.E.C., but he did not get any playing time yet. The cup tie PSV- TOP Oss will be kicked off at 19:45.
