Phillip Cocu hopes to be fit in time for the World Cup 2006 qualifying game against Romania on Saturday night. The PSV midfielder sustained a nasty hamstring injury during the Ajax clash last Sunday afternoon.Although Cocu was hardly on the training pitch the past few weeks, he joined his team mates on the trip to Romania anyway. "If I don’t suffer a setback, I hope to be able to join the squad for full training", explained Cocu on the VI website. The Dutch team will train in the Bucharest Stadium on Friday night. The crucial qualifying game will be kicked off at 20:00. The squad will fly back to Holland on Easter Sunday.
