Heurelho da Silva Gomes will enjoy only a short holiday. The PSV goalkeeper has been called up for the squad of the Brazilian national team that will participate in the Confederations Cup.Tournament in GermanyThe Confederations Cup will take place in Germany from 15 June until 29 June. The other participating countries are, amongs others, hosts Germany, World Champions Brazil, European champions Greece and Argentina, the Olympic Games gold medal winners. France, who hosted the tournament last time, were the latest winners of the event that is organized every two years.Gomes second call-upGomes was first called up for the Seleçao for the friendly against Hong Kong on 9 February, but the 24-year-old stopper was not granted any playing time. Gomes will join the squad as third goalkeeper, together with his colleagues Dida (AC Milan) and Marcos (Palmeiras). Brazil will meet, respectively, Greece in Leipzig on 16 June, Mexico on 19 June and Japan in Cologne on 22 June. The semi finals will be played on 25 June and 26 June and the final is scheduled in Frankfurt on 29 June.
